GNSS Monitoring

The GNSS Performance Monitoring System – GPMS – has been developed by DWI to provide States with a real-time monitoring capability and to help them comply with ICAO Annex 10 guidance, requiring States approving GNSS-based operations to record GNSS data for incident investigation. GPMS is a dedicated solution, already deployed and tested in service, that can be tailored to eet the challenges presented by each individual site.

GPMS can be installed at an individual airport or networked across an entire state or region from a central control station. In addition, it enables Ionospheric Monitoring – key during the Solar Max.

Monitoring, Recording and Playback

GPMS continually monitors actual GNSS accuracy and integrity, determining the real-time availability of GNSS and alerts during periods of unavailability, with all data recorded for playback and analysis. The GPMS can be combined with GRPS to provide a complete monitoring and prediction solution.
