Procedure Design
DWI can provide access to an experienced team of airspace and procedure designers who have been developing both conventional and RNAV instrument procedures for many years. Their procedure design activities extend beyond Europe, including projects in Africa, the Middle East and Central America.
The team offers a fully consultative service for the entire life-cycle of procedure design, beginning with an Operational Requirements Analysis and ending with post implementation reviews. On-site visits to assess particular issues and to provide tarining and support to local designers are regular features of such projects. The service can include:
- Navaid coverage assessment
- Obstacle survey
- Airspace analysis and Concept Design
- Instrument Flight Procedure Design
- Production of draft charts and AIP amendments
- Coding assistance
- Data validation
- Post implementation advice and training
- 5-year review
